CIS Cougar Dance Team Shines at MA Competition in Pearland
Congratulations to the Clute Intermediate Cougar Dance Crew on being awarded Sweepstakes at the Marching Auxiliaries (MA) Dance Competition at Shadow Creek High School in Pearland.
All dance teams from BISD, Brazosport, Brazoswood, Clute Intermediate and Lake Jackson Intermediate entertained their audience the night before the contest in the first BISD Dance Team Show Off, where the teams performed their competition dances in front of friends and family. It was a wonderful, hopefully annual event.
The following day, the Cougar Crew traveled to Pearland where they joined nearly 40 dance groups ranging from 5-year-olds to seniors in high school. There are many different divisions based on style, age level, and size of the dance team.
Congratulations to Tory Brady and her dance team on their Sweepstakes Award along with earning 2nd place in Jazz, 2nd place in Pom and 2nd Place in Contemporary.
