Clute Intermediate Robotics Team Aries is Top Middle School Team
The Southeast Texas Regional Robotics Championship was held at San Jacinto College February 22, 2020 and the Clute Cougar Robotics Team Aries placed 11th out of 36 teams. The achievement earned them the distinction of being the highest performing public school even among other high schools.

The Clute Aries team is in its first year and has already set a high standard for future robotics teams. Coach Becky Teague said, “I am so proud of them and how they have overcome so much adversity. That this mostly 7th grade team out performed even experienced high school teams is just amazing.” She added, “I will have most of them
back next year and we are looking forward to growing a lot as a team.” Congratulations to all students and Coach Becky Teague on this excellent accomplishment. Also a special thanks to the Brazoswood Robotics teams, Brad Whitehead, and other community sponsors that help with this group.
