We are excited to announce the results of the Region 17 band auditions. Four of our Clute Intermediate Cougars made the 2019 All-Region Band.
Below are the results:
- Julieanna Valdez - All Region Band 10th chair, the first Alto Saxophone student on record to make it from CIS!
- Nicholas Harrold - All Region Band 8th chair, the first ever French Horn student on record to make it from Clute!
- Nathaniel Nevarez - All Region Band 3rd chair, the highest ever ranked tuba here at CIS!
- Adrian Hernandez - All District Band 2nd chair
These students are at the top 3% compared to their peers in the entire region. It is a tremendous honor and they have all worked extremely hard to accomplish this. If you see them around be sure and congratulate them on their success.
